NEH Public Impact Projects are designed to support public-facing humanities organizations as they use scholarship to inform the stories that they tell to the public. In this case, all projects will focus on the founding of the United States and the interpretation of the Declaration of Independence. Up to $200,000 over 2 years is available for projects including podcasts, virtual tours, and curriculum resources. Deadline: July 9, 2025. -

New NEH matching grants will provide up to $25,000 for celebrations of the nation’s 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 2026. NEH anticipates making 250 awards. Allowable activities could include screenings, community events, digital content, educational content, teacher training and documentary work.
