2012 was a year of celebration for Colorado Public Television (CPT12), based in Denver, Colorado. As a result, on the 12th of each month, they select a well-deserved program to play, shining a special monthly spotlight on 12 ways to give back.
Colorado Inside Out, one of CPT12's flagship programs, is a half hour of thought provoking and in depth accounts of Colorado's public affairs, discussed by a panel of professional journalists, activists and specialists. Almost all of the episodes can be found online and played at anytime to recap some of Colorado's most vital or interesting news and events.
CPT12 is always looking to focus on the future of their station. They have expanded their online video capabilities, with the motive of “anytime, anywhere viewing,” where you can watch a variety of full length programs, locally-produced shows and independent productions infused with PBS shows.
They have also been working to be an interactive network in order to get the community involved and engaged. Their interactive media site, Viewer Buzz, allows viewers to leave their ideas or observations about the station. They continue to grow their interactive relations through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest, and through events and activities. CPT12’s impressive website creates easy navigation showcasing the wonderful things they have to offer, from daily schedules and kids shows, to local programs in the community. The station also has a CPT12 YouTube Channel, where anyone can subscribe and watch.
