WASHINGTON, D.C. – May 13, 2026 – Kate Riley, President and Chief Executive Officer of America’s Public Television Stations (APTS), issued the following statement today on the passing of Jon Miskowski, PBS Wisconsin’s Emeritus Director of Television.
“America’s Public Television Stations are saddened by the passing of Jon Miskowski, PBS Wisconsin’s Emeritus Director of Television.
“Jon was committed to public media for more than four decades. He was an inspirational leader, dedicated and passionate about serving the people of Wisconsin. We are immensely grateful for his longstanding devotion to our public media system, and his legacy of service will live forever.
“We mourn Jon’s loss and we extend our deepest sympathies to his family, friends and colleagues.”
