Today the Senate formally approved a $20 million increase in funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting - the first increase in 10 years - as part of a package of bills to fund the federal government in fiscal year 2020. The President is expected to sign the legislation later this week.

House and Senate negotiators have agreed on a $20 million increase in funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting - the first increase in 10 years - and the House formally approved the increase today as part of a package of bills to fund the federal government in fiscal year 2020. The Senate is expected to consider the funding package later this week. -
