    Next Generation Warning System Grant Program (NGWSGP)

    FEMA's Next Generation Warning System (NGWS) grant program enhances alert and warning capabilities and improves resiliency of emergency alert and warning systems through effective services, solutions and technology to improve the timely delivery of public safety information for state and tribal partners. Since 2025, the program is no longer run through CPB, and the eligible applicants are no longer stations but state and tribal entities. $2-$10 million is available from a total of $48 million in the 2026 competition. The grant cycle is now closed. The last deadline was August 7, 2026.
