Each week Alaska Public Television provides more than 70 hours of noncommercial, educational, quality children’s programming your kids enjoy and that you can trust. The Alaska Public Media Kids Club offers programs for all ages to get involved in.
A feature of the Kids Club includes Alaska Public Television’s book club, which offers lists of some of the best of children’s literature, and are helpfully broken down by age. The Battle of the Books list of books for all ages can be found here. For more information about Battle of the Books clubs, contact your child’s school.
Alaska Public Television’s on-air birthday greetings just for Alaska kids is another perk of being enrolled in the Kids Club. Fill out the form with at least a 30 day notice, and your child’s birthday will be broadcast over the air.
