The theme of the 2024 Public Media Summit is Partners in Public Service.
We will be highlighting the work our stations are doing with federal, State and local government agencies, community organizations, schools and school districts, public safety entities and other partners to serve the American people in some truly extraordinary ways.
To fully demonstrate public media’s valuable partnerships in public service, we need your help.
Please submit a video highlighting your station’s best example of your unique and essential partnerships that are serving your community. A selection of these videos will be shown during the Summit. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, November 8, 2023.
We want to bring these stories to life -- showing rather than simply talking about the vital work you are doing. The more visual, the better.
Here are some specific things we are looking for in these videos:
- During the Summit, we will highlight videos focused on the three pillars of public television – education, public safety and civic leadership – but if you have other programs or services that are based on partnerships, these are welcomed submissions also.
- Include a mention of the theme of the Summit (Partners in Public Service). This could be words on the screen or in the narration of the video.
- If your video features a partnership with a local organization or entity, please include how the station was or is involved.
- Add your station logo to lower right-hand corner of your video.
- Do NOT submit a reel of everything your station has done over the last year. Your video should be focused on what you’ve specifically done as partners in public service.
- Videos should be no more than 90 seconds in length, have a resolution of 1080p or higher and be submitted in MP4/v format. Please submit your video by uploading it to this Dropbox.
