Emergency Alert and Communication Grants
A total of $1 million in CPB funds will be awarded among ten stations for projects that use digital broadcast to improve communication and alerts during emergencies.
Emergency Management Performance Grants Program
DHS anticipates making $332.4 million in awards to states to improve their preparedness for all hazards, including the appropriate use of emergency alerts and warnings.
Homeland Security Grant Program
The DHS plans to award $968M in awards to states and regions across the country to improve national preparedness capabilities, including emergency alerts and warning activities.
Tribal Homeland Security Grant Program
The DHS plans to award $10 million across 50 awards to strengthen a tribe's capacity to prepare for and respond to emergency situations.
