Andrew Luckett joined APTS as the Legislative and Communications Assistant in May 2016. He supports the activities of both the Government Relations and Communications staff, and contributes to Protect My Public Media, the grassroots advocacy campaign for public television and radio.
Prior to joining APTS, Andrew was Staff Assistant at the Armed Forces Foundation, which manages direct assistance programs and advocacy campaigns to protect and promote the physical, mental and emotional well-being of military service members, veterans and their families. At the Foundation, he conducted legislative research, assisted in media relations and wrote blog posts, among other tasks supporting the public affairs, development, communications and government relations departments. Previously, Andrew interned in the Washington, D.C. office of Representative Dina Titus representing Nevada’s 1st congressional district.
In 2014, Andrew graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, PA with a B.A. in Government and Law and a minor in Film & Media Studies.
